Overview
Tune Time is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not collect, store, or share any information that identifies you personally.
Microphone Access
Tune Time requests access to your device's microphone solely to power the chromatic tuner feature. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
Data Collection
Tune Time does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, or crash reports, and there is no account or sign-in of any kind. The app does not request or use your device's advertising identifier, and it never shows Apple's "Allow Tracking" prompt, because it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Advertising Measurement
Tune Time uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK for one limited purpose: to measure, in aggregate, how many people install the app after seeing an ad on Facebook or Instagram. This works entirely through Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork system, which reports anonymous, aggregated install counts to Meta — it does not identify you individually, and it is not linked to your Apple ID, your activity in other apps, or anything you do inside Tune Time.
No other data is sent to Meta. Tune Time does not use Facebook Login, does not connect to your Facebook or Instagram account, and does not share any in-app activity, audio, or content with Meta or any other advertiser.
Children's Privacy
Tune Time does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
